Pastor's Weekly Musing

Hey Everyone!

Here are some fun events happening this summer at Meadows:

 June 17: Men's Breakfast

Join David Bombara, our Men's Ministry Leader, and the men of Meadows for a time of food, fellowship, and the Word on Saturday, June 17, at 9 AM. Men of all ages are invited to attend! The link to sign up is HERE.

July 2: NextGen Sunday and Baby Dedications

NextGen Sunday is coming July 2! Our Kids Building will be closed for the day and all kids 4 years old and older will join us in the sanctuary as we worship together as a family and church community.

We will still offer nursery care for ages 3 and younger, in the normal rooms in the Main Building. The Parent's Room in the back of the sanctuary is also available for our families.

Our youth group (MYG) will take the lead in our services: worship, ushering/greeting, and Pastor Adrianne will bring the Word. We'll also take time to celebrate Baby Dedications, enjoy communion together, and see our kids perform a number from the Kids Camp soundtrack.

Come do family discipleship with us! Having our kids in the main service with us (for a slightly shorter service than normal) communicates so much to their little souls: that they're valued, welcomed, needed, wanted, and a part of our church. Join us!

If you would like to have your baby dedicated on this special Sunday, please register HERE.

ALSO...The new Lectio Divina journals are here! Go to the Info Center this Sunday to purchase the July-December journals for only $15! What a deal!

MYG (Meadows Youth Group) is back from an amazing week at camp! Our young people were immersed in powerful worship, intentional teachings, and relationship-building activities. The faith of our young people is strengthened by their encounters with Jesus at camp. There is something so powerful about unplugging from the distractions of everyday life and setting aside time to press into more of what God has for them. Did we also mention that they won the camp games!

A huge thank you to anyone who donated scholarship money, attended Bingo Night, or covered them in prayer. Also, a shout out to our leaders, Bryan & Jess Hoge, Nathan Larson, Aiyana Robinson, and Erik Soria.

This Sunday we'll continue our series, APPRENTICE.

We are in for a treat, the legendary Alan Ray will be sharing a message about how becoming an apprentice to Jesus happens over time, little by little, while intentionally submitting ourselves to the process of spiritual formation.

Join us for Part 10 - How We Change: OVER TIME.

It's going to be a great Sunday!
