Pastor's Weekly Musing

Hey everyone!

This Sunday, we got a few big things happening.

First, it's ROOTED SUNDAY. We're officially launching our 10-week community discipleship experience. There's still time to register and get dialed in on the weekly meetings that will happen every Tuesday evening from 6:30-8:30 PM, starting February 28. Click HERE for info and to register.

Also, it's TACO SUNDAY. Bring your appetite, because after both services we'll be serving a free plate of the best street tacos in town. What a day, right??

Psalm 1 says "Blessed is the one... whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither-- whatever they do prospers."

THAT'S what we're after with this emphasis on community and discipleship: we want to be firm, anchored, planted, rooted. So that whatever comes our way, we remain unfazed and prosperous.

Sunday, March 5: Meet the Pastors

Are you interested in becoming a member at Meadows? Join Portia and me on March 5 at 1:00 PM in the Sanctuary. This is your opportunity to meet the Meadows Pastoral Team, hear about the heart and vision of Meadows, learn about connection and serving opportunities, and become a member if you choose. Childcare is available for ages 0-5th grade.
