Pastor's Weekly Musing

Hey everyone!

Rooted/Taco Sunday was awesome, right??

We have 150 signed up to begin our community discipleship experience, so this Tuesday evening is gonna be so fun. The atmosphere was so sweet during and after both Sunday services, and not just because the tacos were great (which they were). I really think the Lord is up to something significant at Meadows in this season, and it's a privilege to be a part of it with you.

If you're signed up for Rooted, get your homework done!

If you're not, you can still engage! Find a friend, go through a Bible reading plan together, or the Lectio Divina daily plan, or get coffee and talk Jesus with a friend.

Get in on the action! It's time to grow deeper intentionally.

This Sunday we'll pick back up on our series, This is Us.

So far, we've tackled individualism, idolatrous ideologies, moral relativism, and outrage & fear, all challenges we face as believers in today's culture. But we want to grow deeper intentionally, so we're talking about how we can counter-form against the way of the world and into the likeness of Jesus.

This Sunday, we'll do more of the same. We'll closely examine how polarized our culture and nation is, how we got here, what it's done to us, and how Christ shows us the way to habituate against it.

Join us this Sunday for Part 8 - A Community of Peace-Makers.

Looking forward to seeing you all on the walkway!
