Pastor's Weekly Musing

Hey friends,

So do you want the good news or the bad news first? Bad news first, I thought so. Here it is: I have Covid. Who gets Covid twice? Apparently this gal, so I will not be making my Sunday morning preaching debut this week. Pastor Robyn has graciously offered to preach this Sunday. Lord willing, I will be preaching next Sunday, June 19th. I want to give a massive shout-out to our incredible team for pivoting on a moment's notice and doing what it takes to serve our church well. Pastors Robyn, Nate, Adrianne, and our newest staff member Stephanie, I am incredibly grateful for each of you!

Alright, the good news, well, the great news.... It is Offermann Sunday!!! Pastors Nate and Adrianne have been the leaders of Meadows Youth Group for ten years. Church, that is extremely rare. The average length of time a pastor stays in youth ministry is one to two years. These two deserve to be honored and celebrated not just for their years of service, but also for how they have served. So let's celebrate!

This Sunday, If you would like to bring a card or a gift to express your gratitude to Pastors Nate and Adrianne, we will have a table with a card box prepared. Also, we will have blank note cards available to share any thoughts with them that you would like. Our church council and our staff have prepared some fun gifts for them. This is going to be so much fun! I love this church!!

This Sunday Pastor Robyn will be preaching a message about Jesus as our Everlasting Father, which will explore how Jesus fulfills this title and what it means for us today. It's going to be a great Sunday!

I won't see you on the walkway, but I love you!
