- Men's Breakfast this Saturday, November 12. It'll be a potluck style breakfast, so bring your favorite dish if you can, or just bring your appetite! Starts at 9 AM.
- Operation: Christmas Child week is upon us! Susan Elliott and the Meadows team will be serving as a Collection Site all next week, from November 14-21. Call Susan for details on getting engaged with serving. Bring your OCC shoeboxes to Meadows next Sunday, November 20. We'll pray a blessing over each box at the conclusion of each service.

Psalm 5:11 says, "Let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them sing joyful praises forever. Spread your protection over them, that all who love your name may be filled with joy."

God doesn't simply want our submission and obedience, but He actually desires our joy! Did you know that? He wants you to be so enraptured with His love for you that you literally sing about it forever.

I like to loud-sing when I'm in a good mood. In fact, our family tradition is that we can start playing Christmas music starting on November 9th, so you better believe Michael Buble and Justin Bieber Christmas albums have been on loop for the past 36 hours. I literally shout the lyrics in the car with the kids. I can't help it.

Imagine being so enamored with God's goodness that you can't help but sing for joy, but not just for a song, or album, or even for a season, but forever! Incredible. And that's what He wants for you and me.

What a God, right? Lean into that part of His character this week.

This Sunday, we'll continue our series, Elijah and Elisha.

You'll get a special treat this Sunday too: Gary Richards will be bringing the Word. You know him, you love him.

Gary and Pat have been serving Meadows and the world for years and years, and I always love hearing each of their perspectives when they share. Pat preached last night at Connect, and now Gary will preach out of 2 Kings 5, when Namaan is healed of leprosy. You won't want to miss this!

Join us this Sunday for Part 8 - Naaman's Healing.

Looking forward to seeing you all on the walkway!
